The 21 participants of Imagine Bocconi will be divided into 7 teams of 3 Dreamers each. Each team is formed by individuals with distinct profiles. The resulting 7 projects, organized by the sponsor(s) will center on creatively solving an issue that the sponsor faces in a particular business segment

Generali is seeking to transform and simplify for its operating machine for its customers and distributors, becoming a lean and agile operator. When acting along these lines, the customer experience throughout the life cycle of the insurance policy will be improved, distributors’ capabilities will be extended to produce up-selling and cross-selling opportunities and new insurance solutions will be offered. Generali relies on innovation as a key driver for future growth, as IT allows for more tailored solutions and quicker product development. Indeed, through this innovation Generali aims to achieve product excellence in the new market context

Innovation is becoming an integral component of Generali DNA and a key element of growth and differentiation in the very competitive global insurance market...By joining and sponsoring Imagine Bocconi, Generali aims to explore and develop new innovative ideas and digital solutions for its business and develop products and services that are tailored to the continuously evolving client needs. This initiative will further help Generali to promote culture of innovation internally and externally.

The challenge identified for the Imagine Bocconi initiative, “how to improve the insurance offering and the customer experience for millennials”, goes in this direction by leveraging on the innovation capabilities of the target group itself, within a co-design philosophy.
